Rupture will be going down later tonight for scheduled maintenance for approximately 2 hours, starting at 11pm (PST) until 1am (PST). The downtime is being used to apply several updates and performance enhancements to the service.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
An e-mail has been sent out to all those who have signed up for Developer accounts. It contains an update of where we are at with publishing our API documentation and information about our projected launch of the Developer Network. The entire team is pushing this project really hard and are working feverishly to get it out to all those who have been asking for something to work with over the past few weeks :). From the questions and conversations we've had from all of you regarding the Developer Network, it seems the rest of you are as excited as we are! If you are a developer who received the e-mail and have any notes to send us regarding it - use our feedback link at the top of the page. We'll be sending out another update by the end of the month.
If you're a developer who's interested in our Developer Network and have yet to sign up, you can learn more or sign up at www.rupture.com/developers.
Our hosting provider, Engine Yard, had a large scale critical failure earlier today and caused us to be offline for several hours. We're considering many solutions to ensure that some page is available when our provider experiences failure. Thanks for your patience.
Gametrailers.com has footage of Rupture's presentation as part of the EA Online group at E3. The video runs approximately 6 minutes long.
After a week down in the heart of L.A. dodging bums and the surrounding area's sketchy establishments, Shawn and Bill made it back from So-Cal all in one piece. We popped a few photos from E3 into Flickr for your viewing pleasure. There are not many pictures as there was no designated photographer. Random iPhone shots during small windows of downtime is all Bill was able to manage. Click on the photo to check out the pictures:
